Alicia Keys
While being honored at the 67th Grammy's with the Dr. Dre Global Impact Award for her work as a music producer, Alicia Keys made a call for more diversity for other women to be recognized. “This is not the time to shut down the diversity of voices,” said Keys. “We’ve seen on this stage talented, hardworking people from different backgrounds with different points of view, and it changes the game. DEI is not a threat, it’s a gift.”
Taraji P. Henson

Hidden Figures actress Taraji P. Henson has been vocal about pay inequality for Black women in the movie industry. “I'm just tired of working so hard, being gracious about what I do, getting paid a fraction of the cost.' Henson said in a December 2023 interview on Gayle King radio. She has also partnered with Kate Spade New York in mental wellness efforts and is bringing resources to HBCU's nationwide. The partnership will provide safe spaces called "She Cares Pods" on campus for students to be able to talk about whatever may be bothering them. The first pods will open on the campuses of Alabama State University and Hampton University.
Cynthia Ervio's Wicked Style

Fall/Winter 2024
London born actress Cynthia Ervio has been making her rounds on the red carpet to promote the release of 'Wicked', realeased in theaters November 22nd. Ervio stars beside singer Ariana Grande in the film, and adaption of the Broadway play. Cynthia has been seen wearing some of the fashion industry's hottest designers, but most notably, in the film she chose to wear microbraids to promote the representation of Black women.
